MEET LEONE

Since 2021, queer alt rocker LEONE (LEE-OH-NEE) has been making waves within the Brooklyn music scene with his emotionally charged sound. Blending feelings of angst, lust, and grief, LEONE’s distinct style has been gaining traction over the last two years.

Following the success of queer glam rock band DEITRE, lead singer/songwriter Richie Leone formed LEONE back in 2021. In early 2022, LEONE released his debut single, "Monochrome Colors", accompanied by a beautifully emotional music video. This song established the project’s sound and identity, quickly becoming a fan favorite. Following the success of "Monochrome Colors", LEONE released his debut EP, (thisbodyisntmine), in the summer of 2022.

LEONE's sophomore EP, GTFOH, was released in August of 2023, and received praise from Earmilk, Atwood Magazine, and more. GTFOH is quintessential LEONE, but with a fresh, heavier sound. The EP explores themes of love, loss, and self-discovery, with introspective and thought-provoking lyrics, something LEONE excels at.

LEONE spent 2025 writing the next album, and bringing his music to new places. He notably performed at Bonaroo alongside House of Yes, commanding his largest audience yet. Now gearing up for his highly anticipated debut full-length album, ROMANTIC, LEONE offers a close, unfiltered look into the complexities of love, identity, and what it means to be human. His music goes beyond mere storytelling, it dares you to feel along with him.
